My work begins in free and calculated associations. By exploring
‘scapes (dreamscapes, landscapes, cityscapes) I set the table for
a dialogue that the visitor must self-initiate to order their
perceptions in an environment of sense and nonsense.
My apparent concerns are straightforward - the failure of empire,
manifested with formal surfaces and with the icons of shop-worn
ideas and failed aspirations.
