The world is increasingly metered. At times, the patterns, systems, and structures
are directly evident, more often appearance relies on adjustments in scale and
vantage. Beginning with a series of propositions, I am investigating the instability
in growth and the uncertainty in novelty. Life itself is an elaboration – an
amalgamation of ornament and essence. My project is a return to intuition as a
method for examining these complexities (and complexity itself) in my daily life and
recognizing them as creative forces of change.
