Lives and works in Paris
Dance Floor is mainly based on the immaterial power of sound waves, especially of infrabass and will be adapted in-situ for the show Bass Model Diffusion. Visually the piece looks like a night club, with a stroboscope and a disco ball. However, rather than shifting a stage set into an exhibition space, the artist attempts to deal with the body as an architecture, paradoxically as a porous obstacle which directly absorbs sound vibrations, and also interrupts or changes the diffusion of the waves. This experience also refers to the sensation that music generates for deaf people.
